Olathe Invite today. I jogged a mile at the beginning of the meet to loosen up. We thought the wind was going to die down from earlier in the day and it did, but it was still blowing steady. 2 miles of warmup before the race and stretches. First lap was a 69 and I was in 5th... plan was to stick behind the guys who went out fast for a lap or two. Coming through the 800 I got into the lead. Came through the mile in 4:48. I felt good throughout the whole thing but my stomach was uneasy. Won with 9:46 and an 18 second lead. Cooled down a mile on the turf.

I feel ya on the stomach thing. I've raced the 3200 3 times in the past 2 weeks and every time I hit lap 7, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. Nice work dude! You def could have gone quicker with some real competition.
